How Does a Brine Type Block Ice Machine Operate?

As illustrated, when the compressor unit (11) starts, refrigerant enters the coil evaporator (08) and begins evaporating.Brine water in the brine tank (09) is circulated by an agitator (05), then flowsthrough the coil evaporator (08).
As the water temperature decreases, it contacts the outer surface of ice cans (06), absorbing the heat from the water inside the ice cans.This process continues until all the water in the ice cans freezes.The cooled brine water is then recirculated by the agitator to the coil evaporator, forming a continuous brine water circulation.In due time, all water in the ice cans solidifies into ice blocks.The crane (07) moves along the guiding rail (10) to hoist a row of ice cans (06)into the ice thaw tank (04). Normal temperature water in the thaw tank melts the outer surface of the ice cans, separating the ice blocks.
The compressor unit (11), controlled by an electronic control box (12), regulates the brine tank temperature. When the temperature rises, the compressor activates; it stops once the set temperature is reached.
